No polluter should be let off the hook for polluting our rivers, lakes and loughs.

Alliance Minister @andrewmuirni.bsky.social is taking action:
💧 Ending NI Water's by-ball to pump raw sewage into our waterways
💧 Increasing water pollution fines
💧 Introducing fixed penalty notices

Huge thanks to all our incredible emergency service teams and the Department for Infrastructure for their swift response during #StormBram and the #HighTide. 🌊💨
The combination of high winds and high tide created treacherous conditions on our roads, but thanks to their quick actions—closing roads, keeping people safe, and working tirelessly to reopen routes this morning—we can all breathe a little easier. 👏👏
I also want to thank people who took the time to help others and remove fallen trees to ensure everyone could get home safe. 🌳🪚
Your efforts didn’t go unnoticed. We appreciate everything you’ve done to keep our communities safe! 💙

Our institutions cannot remain stuck in 1998. Society has evolved, and our institutions need to as well.

Enough is enough.

Alliance's motion today is calling for Stormont to be reformed so we can end dysfunctional decision making and deliver for the people of NI.

Paramilitaries are a poison on our society.

The Secretary of State’s appointment of a “go-between” to negotiate with them risks legitimising their coercion and criminality.

It’s time they were off the backs of our community and out of the murky shadows of our politics.

Our motion calling on the Economy Minister to fix NI's skills gap has PASSED✅

Every young person deserves the chance to develop their skills, build a career, and have hope for a better future.

No young person or business should be held back because the system is broken.

Check out this handy guide to find out when they should stay off, and when they can go back if they are well enough to do so. If your child is unwell and you have concerns about their symptoms you should speak to your GP.

Now it's time to ensure these changes will apply to the 2027 Assembly elections. 🏛️
