It’s on days like this that I have to admit to my deep resentment for my friends who claimed Trump was no better or worse than any other candidate. Those who actively sought to discourage friends from even voting at all. They may have meant well, but their privilege outran their responsibility.

I do believe the only way out of this is to see Trump fully impeached and his cabinet and appointees purged. If this does not happen, this country is going to fall into such a state of global pariah-hood and economic and incredible social depression that we will not likely ever recover from.
Perhaps there should now be early grassroots outreach to get people prepared for these potential challenges in advance. All left/democrat candidates should include this in their canvassing.
