Vuorenmaat ostivat vanhan talon, joka liittyy naisten vaiettuun historiaan – joillekin työlaitokset olivat vankilaa pahempia Ilmajoella toimi Suomen ainoa pelkästään naisille tarkoitettu työlaitos. Siellä ”huonoa elämää” viettäneet naiset joutuivat kuriin ja nuhteeseen, tekemään työtä ja elämään sääntöjen mukaan.

Ilmastopaneeli: Suomessa pitäisi vähentää nopeasti metsien hakkaamista ja ostaa enemmän sähköautoja Suomen metsien käytön on muututtava, jotta ilmasto­tavoitteet saavutetaan. Viivyttely muissa ilmasto­toimissa lisää hakkuiden rajoittamisen tarvetta.

Today’s perk at work: the Monrepos library, collected in the 18th century, nowadays inducted in the Unesco memory of the world programme. The library is located in the National Library of Finland.
