The problem is that the Heritage Foundation has stacked the Supreme Court with people who will rule however they direct them to rule (in accordance with Project 2025). We may have some lower courts trying to hold the line but Trump loves to appeal.

I keep wondering if Trump’s pushing for an uprising so he can put the Proud Boys, III%ers, Klan, et al, on the government’s payroll as the King’s Army. Having people draw blood for him seems to be a real turn on for Trump since bone spurs keep him from doing his own dirty work.

After ten years with the Democratic Party I would think that you’d know that it’s better to build a coalition by rallying fellow Democrats than to throw shade at those who are fighting to salvage a future. Hindsight is always 20/20 but self-righteous indignation doesn’t do much to change anything.

I’m over people who complain about “old school Dems” without showing a knowledge of how politics work or offering legitimate solutions to existing problems. Dems have worked tirelessly for voting rights, worker’s rights, civil rights, etc. It takes all of us working together to bring about change.

The GOP has controlled the House for the last two years and will control the House and Senate for the next two years. Republicans aren’t likely to cross their party because they know that if they do, they’re done.

There is nothing more that Democrats can do to stop Trump. The courts are the last guardrail and as we know, the Heritage Society owns the Supreme Court.
