Where.. where could I have seen him before.. So curious that I wonder if I’m crazy, I’m stood in a room full of bodies, pulsing music and hypnotic lights wondering if this is a dream.
I shamelessly write this down as a means to get it out of my system. I hope I never see him again.
Who was he.. he had the look of a millionaire’s son. He owned something. Or was he an artist? Performer? Ballet? Theatre? Why did he have a familiarity like I’ve seen him before..
But I could tell the sheer amount of bodies caused slight wariness. Intuition tells me he drinks conservatively, he prefers to be.. in control.
Surely a lot of bodies there were important, many artists. He stood out the most. Like he was the only one in the room. I think saw a kindness to his slight smile as he casually gazed about from places distant from too many bodies. He seemed to be enjoying the music,
His eyes held mine the minute he walked into the crowded room of bodies… the way he carried himself and slinked about the room, corner to dark corner. The dark suit hid him well. He didn’t want his photo to be taken. I respected that. So much that I was intrigued, who was he? He seemed important.
