Oh I dunno, it's kind of fun watching people reverse engineer Elite Dangerous into Starfield rather than, you know, playing Elite Dangerous.

The soundtrack on NES is a particular highlight for the platform IMO. The replication of John Williams work plus the original tracks are completely laced with golden nostalgia. The sound of my early teens.

A fantastic game that perhaps perfects the multi-stage, multi-genre film tie-in.

Completed the NES version back in the day, but not really tackled the Game Gear version in earnest due to battery anxiety.

I think for overall impact, probably Daytona USA. Virtua Racing showed the way, but Daytona arguably perfected the formula and set the tempo for the next three decades in terms of handling.
