Dinosaurs in the fog.

Bitterns, GIMP 2, 2023. A lot more social or even tolerant than you ever see bitterns in reality, but wanted to stick as many of them as I could in one picture because bitterns are cool.

A memorial painting of my girl, four years in the making.

An excellent tip! Hadn't really thought of that myself, but it'll come in handy - and will probably be shared with other people too ♥️

One interesting thing I noticed about tigers/pantherine cats vs felinae cats is the orientation of stripes on their face. On pantherine cats it is concentric circles, on felinae cats it radiates outwards from a central point!

Started this wanting to draw horns. Ended up drawing silence. Bighorn sheep in winter, rendered with Pentel GraphGear 1000s — the .2mm for tiny bare branches, the .5mm 4B for all that fur and shadow. This one was a true joy.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ #sciart #graphite

Commission done for Bagelshark back in February, featuring her featherfox character Bagel. While featherfoxes are a fantasy species, the research gone into this is real: the stars accurate for a Canadian February night sky, and the branch is red pine - common in the area, and liked by raptors.

Spring is almost here and all the snow has melted in Sweden! I'm excited to see what plants will grow in the garden. A little fox 🦊 visited our yard the other night so I've been dreaming of it wandering through the forest and bringing spring 🌱🌷🌼🌹🌻
