And the IP owners aren't gonna do anything whatsoever to commemorate the occasion

How would that even work in detail? I have a hard time believing that Orion's docking port is rated to handle the kinds of force it would have to endure for a backwards facing transfer burn
With their next gen console basically being a glorified PC they're pretty much voluntarily giving up their entire chunk of the market to Valve
Hmm I think I like indie games #my9games
This is the problem I'm dealing with the most. Not because I have trouble learning, but because I have to actively dodge my profs AI suggestions. I've unsuccessfully tried to make the point that outsourcing all my problem solving to a chat bot completely undermines my education
Not sure how long banned accounts remain visible but I'm pretty certain they're deleted eventually. Once that happens, ownership should transfer to another mod automatically, I think. Might just be a while until then
In Germany it's called Zoomania
It's either this, E33 or Bananza but yeah, I don't think it's a close race
A lot of video-game publishers spend hundreds of millions of dollars chasing after "realistic graphics" and "massive open-worlds" when what players really want is just a shitload of weird little guys
That's for the most part what I did, but I didn't realize just how close to 46 I actually got, I expected way more obstacles. I was like "Wait, I could literally go there right now" and so I did
Other than that it's an absolutely brilliant game, and I'm gonna keep playing because I really want to fully understand what is up with the story. I'm just in love with the atmosphere and world of Blue Prince and I can't let it go just yet. I was actually kinda sad when the credits rolled
I got to room 46 as well a few days ago, with not as much of the story uncovered as I'd have liked. Now I'm just clinging onto hope that there is another ending that makes solving everything else worth it, because I'm a bit disappointed most puzzles could just be ignored for the room 46 search
A solid portion of that is farming for clown awards to get steam points. Honestly one of the dumbest additions they made to the platform, now people are posting unhinged attention seeking bait everywhere
Honestly same, but at the same time I'm glad there isn't because it makes the game last longer. I'm obsessed with it
I wonder if society is prepared for the amount of undecipherable bugs and tech debt ML/LLM users might be introducing in the name of short term productivity
For a single mission from earth to the lunar surface and back, the required energy stays largely the same no matter where the station is situated, but as you said, this way it's a lot more reachable for orbital supply crafts.
I think the main thing B*rger is on about is the fact that landers need to spend more propellant to travel from gateway's highly elliptical orbit down to the surface, but that would only really become relevant for repeated missions between station and surface, something that currently isn't planned
More notably, the moon's density isn't very uniform, which leads to low lunar orbits being quite unstable due to gravity fluctuations. A station in LLO would require far more propellant for stationkeeping.
If only there was another place like it that people could just migrate to
Yeah, fair enough
According to the article they're in charge of that now too
Figured it's time to actually post something on here. The past couple of weeks I've been exploring math visualisations using geometry nodes in Blender. I made this little animation showing how a set of points can be used to create bezier curves of increasing order.
In all fairness, FH still uses the F9 sized fairing (which they're already nearly fully utilizing for F9 Starlink launches), so its increased range is probably a bigger strength than its higher payload capacity to LEO. Though I still doubt it would launch more often if it had a bigger fairing
Now we know the true reason you're leaving Coffee Stain
Hello everyone! I've been experimenting with some different ways of rendering a fluid simulation, and made a video about the journey over here: youtu.be/kOkfC5fLfgE
2 works best for me
I hate how consistently people pretend like the Hindenburg didn't exist
Hate to be the guy asking, but... what's the status on Kerbal Space Program 2? All the missing promised features are still being advertised on the store page, yet there is no indication that anyone is actually working on those.

Nice, any chance you could add native resolution support for the steam deck?
