Can I just say: I really like the trend of big publishers giving their older IP to indie devs. The publishers probably think there's nothing to lose, and the developers actually put passion and care into the projects. Seems like a win-win for everyone involved and for the players as well.

Quite literally, most of the library.
The Nintendo DS had a shovelware problem, but it's amazing how decades-old gameplay that we called "gimmicky" back in the day feels incredibly fresh today.

It may not have the objectively best library, but the DS is still my favorite Nintendo thing of all time.

F-Zero Climax, despite it's slight detractors, really is the best 2D F-Zero. It's a shame it never officially released outside of Japan, but it's been great watching people get to experience it for the first time via NSO

This is the most lively I've seen it around here in a long time, and it seems to be maintaining. It helps that the newest influx is finally getting to see Blue Sky basically be on par with Twitter. The first months were rough when people realized you couldn't post video, etc.

Maybe I'll post more here. I haven't felt like interacting about games for a while because Twitter has felt so toxic for a long time. It's good to see so many familiar faces here!

The way it manages to utilize features of the DS without feeling like a shoehorned gimmick needs to be studied in a lab. Also the ambitious map size for such limited hardware is just *chef's kiss*

Imagine thirsting for a Nintendo Direct and not using that time to play Prince of Persia

I think I've finally reached that age where I'm in the "prime demographic" for Brain Age 😮‍💨
