Like we can produce extremely robust steel. Very fine actuators. Extremely tiny semiconductor chips. We know how to do it.

But the limiting factor for these is economics. Premium things require premium prices because of material scarcity, and no amount of compute power is gonna overcome this.

Software development, the “break things” mentality, and the fact that software doesn’t really have much actual physical cost has genuinely broken so many tech brains where it just assumes more processing power = better results.

But in the materials world economics and scarcity constrains us.
