School lunch debt is skyrocketing with the expiration of Covid-era subsidies. With it come humiliating debt-collection tactics served on children.

Happy Birthday 🥳
I think some of them are dumb as dirt while others know exactly what’s what and like it.
People think this translates to a huge red population here not understanding that there are several oligarchs completely running Texas. The TX GOP is owned and staying red or turning blue is about money.
The Texas oligarchs (look them up) didn’t want Ken Paxton impeached, so he was fully acquitted. The state is fully owned and run by several billionaire donors, and families’ safety was likely threatened which is how these people roll. #txlege
Keep this in mind. Even if a wider invasion isn’t a realistic goal/danger due to NATO’s strength and deterrence, the general’s statement lays bare russia’s hostile posture. Plus, they're not threatened; they think they're entitled to controlling big parts of Europe.

Thank you! We’re happy he found us!
One big boy orange cat and one little boy orange cat hanging out in the breakfast room.
Hamish is big bro to Clancy who showed up on our back porch a couple of months ago.

gotta organize to get school boards to ban the use of prageru material, which is unadulterated history misinformation
All I know for sure is that everyone I know that works from home tells me they’ll never go back to the office.
All of David Frum’s Tweet thread about what dipshit Musk did with Starlink in Ukraine is important. And for the record, Musk’s argument about not wanting to be complicit in an act of war is BS. The moment he took the Pentagon contract, he was complicit. He should never have this type of power.
I think the big push to get folks back in their little cubicles is coming from the wealthy commercial real estate developers and owners. I also read the Koch Network wants us commuting everyday and consuming fossil fuels. It’s likely the automotive industry doesn’t like working from home either.
Just followed!
"The US health system is expensive and inefficient, even if you ignore the extraordinary administrative costs that are simply delegated to users of health services. If you live in America, you are required to serve as your own healthcare navigator through this complex system."
They’re beautiful! I’m finding the same to be true. We had a kitten on our back porch and brought him in. He’s been vetted and neutered and was climbing on us, purring, and slow blinking in less than 12 hours of being inside. He couldn’t be sweeter and we can’t find him a forever home.
Oh my. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' to Jim Jordan: Sit down and STFU.
It's a long letter but you must, must read the whole thing. It's worth every minute spent. www.ajc.com/politics/wil...
Ruin the environment for a speculative digital playground and then compensate them at a rate higher than their bitcoin would be worth when the environment is ruined.
Greg Abbott is a genius.

Thank you, Yolanda! Glad to be here and happy to find you!
Haven’t decided, but Roland Gutierrez is much more outspoken than Colin Alred and I really appreciate that. Seems like Alred may be more of a Corporate Dem. I’d love to hear Beto’s thoughts.
Here's my recap of the first two days of the Ken Paxton trial, featuring a saffron-hued Tony Buzbee and too many drunk grandpas to count

A political psychologist I know says the root of right-wing- militia anger is that they no longer control women.
Think of it: 100 years ago, any man could get a woman. Incel wasn't a thing: women were entirely dependent on men.
I have two cats of my own, and this is Clancy, the little fellow we’re fostering after finding him on our back porch almost two months ago.
I love boycotting a’hole companies.
These members of #txlege voted today to dismiss all charges against TXAG Ken Paxton:
Tan Parker
Charles Schwertner
Donna Campbell
Charles Perry
Lois Kolkhorst
Paul Bettencourt
Brandon Creighton
Bob Hall
They’re owned by the billionaires who run the Texas shadow government.
You forgot to mention his unbearable voice.
