Good day out in Swansea. Great city to visit and a fun train trip back. Tired now but 3 more points
Fixed my front gate this morning. I've walked through it 6/7 times already, and watched proudly from the window as my wife walked through it on her way to work. Not sure it is up to slamming it shut yet though
Its the soaking them all in vinegar that takes the time.
The Refcam when he gave the penalty was frankly terrifying. I was sat in a Southampton pub and felt the Bmouth players were blaming me for it. Cracking win for you though
Decent away last night up at Wrexham. Stayed the night in Chester and dead nice there as well. Had a pint of Wrexham Lager pre match. That was the low point I'm afraid
Great Stone Roses cover for the coveted Easter No 1 slot youtu.be/7o_vzb35Y7g?...
Peter Shreeves for me (and I did google to check his current, er, health)
That includes an ad break.
If it is Adolf Hutter, I give Paul Merson 5 minutes on Sky before he fucks up
Going via Chertsey I'm afraid
Those vampires had lovely singing voices mind. Couldn't help but tap my feet.
I went to Helsinki for a few days towards the end of last year. A city travel card includes travel over to Suomenlinna, which has a decent little military museum, and the struggles they had from both sides in WWII.
Vera, Chuck and Dave, it was really nothing #BeatlesSmiths
Ha, yes, I did wonder how much that goal was cheered in the blue bit 😀
On my way back from WBA. Probably my favourite away ground to visit. #Saintsfc stole a point tonight
No, I can't decipher that one (though as a Win City ST holder, I really don't want our working aircraft carrier to go...)
I've only seen all 3 pairs all turn down the chance once. I don't think the audience sat around the studio were happy.
I think I have only seen it on Bullseye. Otherwise, I am sure I'd have been on at my mum to rent it from Granada as it would doubtless help me with my homework
DDR 1974. Or Ajax away 1991, which I had but gave away to an attractive bar maid
Has a host nation of the World Cup ever bombed two of the competing nations in the same calendar year they’re hosting it before?
Or is that just a perk of being FIFA’s peace prize winner that you’re allowed to?
It is less official than the other similar exhibitions and set in an actual Bunker that was connected to Anhalter Bahnof, the facade of which still stands. Right up yours and Tom's straße
Can you believe they were out of pork knuckle??? Anyway, when you travel, come here www.berlinstory.de More info and darker, but with a few opinions thrown in, than the T o T (which is still well worth visiting, obvs). The empty bunker at the end is properly eerie. H lasted about 10 seconds in there
Good screen display in a Berlin bar this evening
Have you got a name for that bar? We are on Stresemannstraße in Potsdamer Platz area, so assume we are near there
Yep. If there is a football match, beer and travel, Sam is all over it. H is doing a boat trip when we are at football. Tomorrow we are doing Berlin Bunker story, T of T, maybe Checkpoint museum and then maybe DDR museum or may leave that till later on Sunday. J & H went up TV Tower this evening
Hertha v Nürnberg. Joe has never been here and isn't likely to with work, so we decided to all come here as Joe wants to see the sights and I'm never going to argue
I have both offspring with me. I won't even be walking to the bar my friend.
It is my duty. I do try to get pics of German fans dressed like that as well
In Berlin. Getting through customs took longer that the flight over. Gone to a dive bar where smoking is not just allowed, it seems it is compulsory. Bloke in fluorescent sleeve shirt recognised me and youngest son from last time we were here at start of 2025
