The husband ( @wagtail.bsky.social ) and I took a day off on sunday and went to the "Fantasy Filmfest Nights" in Hamburg and it was fantastic.

Great movies, nice talks with other horror film fans, great atmosphere and just a relaxing day with someone and something you love.

Ging mir nach der Hochphase der Depression leider auch so: Ich konnte mich kaum aufs Lesen besinnen.
Das wurde aber mit der Zeit immer besser und inzwischen lese ich wieder so um die 40 Bücher im Jahr - mit bewußter Lesezeit, auf jedem Reiseweg, im Wartezimmer und auf dem Klo. Du schaffst das auch.

Finde ich total sinnvoll und gut!

Wir haben im Bekanntenkreis eine ganze Reihe von Menschen, die mit Schilddrüse und/oder Hormonen zu kämpfen haben. Auch wenn man das nicht immer behandeln kann, ist allein schon das Wissen um die eigene Verfassung oft eine Erleichterung.

Mache es in dem Tempo, das zu dir passt.
Für mich ging es Schritt für Schritt und eins nach dem anderen. Aber inzwischen geht schon fast alles wieder, auch wenn ich mich so manches Mal noch überwinden muss.
Das Gute daran: Wenn ich mich überwinde, dann ist es eigentlich immer schön.

"Kniffel" ist ähnlich wie "Monopoly" oder "Spiel des Lebens" mehr eine Beschäftigung und dann nicht mal eine schöne, spannende (finde ich).

Aber es gibt auch gute Varianten, wenn ich ergänzen darf: "Ganz schön clever" ist Kniffel trifft Bingo mit ein bisschen Rechnen. Macht sehr viel Spaß!

Und deshalb funktionieren MMORPGs.

Especially as the Creative Gremlin does not have an easy time in his class due to his neurodivergence.
So now I am trying to organize a little workshop for his class with the local tabletop club.
It just feels great to spread the joy.

So our little Creative Gremlin took a Space Marine he painted and another one on the sprue to school and held a little spontaneous presentation about painting as well as assembling minis.
Knowing him that's not a huge surprise. What surprised me was that 3/4ths of his class loved it. 1/2

Bisher noch nicht, aber das lässt sich nachholen.

Wenn du es mal zu uns schaffst, wirst du es bei "King of Tokyo" beweisen müssen …

But getting back into the hobby (with the kids) and meeting tons of likeminded people along the way brings back a sense of wonder and excitement, I thoroughly enjoy.
