With Xmas coming up and having recently finished Season 2, my sister and I have done a very Hellaverse spin on decorating ornaments. ;)
Can you guess the character themes? We’re thinking of doing Adam & Lute for the last one. 😈

‘Vox Populi’, where it is instead sung by Adam. 😈
His backup dancers and singers are his unmasked Exorcists. 👯♀️
If Vox can Make Hell Great Again, don’t you tell me Adam wouldn’t try and do the same for Heaven 😉

“Did you…?”
I‘m not convinced she was about to say “I love you” before she was cut off. Too obvious. It’s clear she does. There‘s no reason to leave those words unsaid.
Lute’s hiding something, not just from Adam but the audience, too.
She’s Eve.

Alternatively, Eve has been incognito all this time, having donned the guise of an Exorcist angel. Why? Well, the general idea is that she felt *such* guilt and shame for allowing sin to enter the world that she played this role to atone via the yearly Exterminations.
How does that sound?
Props for always keeping an open mind ;)
I'm a big proponent of Lute!Eve, and have composed quite a case for it with evidence if you're interested, but I accept there's a good chance I'm wrong all the same.
Whatever the route they go down, as long as it's done well, I'll be happy.
Or, building on the first, she’s the genuine article?
I’ll also just throw these out here for the fun of it ;)
I mean, it’s more than a little odd Vosk would retweet and then delete this, no? Just a tad? And the playbill omission definitely raises an eyebrow. Something about Lute is being kept hidden, at any rate.

Here’s a supplement addressing potential holes in the theory:

Right, with the release of ‘Gravity’, I’ve seen an uptick in interest in the ‘Lute is Eve’ theory. As such, I’ve got all my evidence so far compiled here for all interested.

For me, personally, it all comes down to how the show plays if it is the case. Nothing wrong with tropes, just as long as they do them well.
In case you were interested, I’ve got links to the whole ‘Lute!Eve’ theory that makes a pretty compelling case for it. If you’d like, I’d be happy to share.
Ya see, I’ve never really got that one. With Lute!Eve, I’ve had people gimme good reasons Why she’d go incognito all this time, but with the ‘Lilith/Eve’ I’ve never really heard a reason they‘d switch places other than for a twist. Unless theres something I’ve missed, I dunno.
Funny you should say that, given there's a theory going around now that Lute is, in fact, secretly Eve. lol
It's definitely seen a resurgence since the release of 'Gravity'. I'd be happy to share some evidence with you if you're interested.
Similarly with Adam, it is entirely possible that who Lute (Eve) might have been on Earth might not be the person she is now.
Lute has a real disdain for weakness. She might have adored Abel when they were alive, but might now see her weakness and vulnerability in him, the same that doomed mankind.
There's also this potential evidence I found.
The first one is quite interesting when you consider no other character's bio is blacked out like Lute's is. What could be so spoilery about her backstory?
The second one is... well, yeah XD
Now, sure, it’s just a theory, but wouldn't it be amazing if it were proven true? It would explain quite a lot about her -- her fanatical devotion to Adam, her devastation at his death, the reason for her visceral hatred of demons, etc.
Well, here's my reasoning for backing it:
The general idea is that Eve felt such guilt and shame over the incident in Eden that she wanted to start anew. That she took the place of an Exorcist to be near Adam all these centuries, as well as atoning for inadvertently creating Hell by her own hands.
Two could be hit at the same time — I’m predicting Lute is in fact Eve herself and will strike at the end of the season.
There's also the fact that Vosk herself described Lute as having a very sympathetic reason for hating sinners as Viscerally as she does. Now, who among heaven could have that reason other than the one who accidentally created Hell with her own hands?
Oh, and this:
I'll see you that and raise you this.
Now look, sure, Vosk could’ve easily been just trolling, but this is a peculiar thing to quote, retweet, and then suddenly delete, no? Just a wee bit? As if she may have thought or someone told her, “Ooo, that’s giving the game away too much” after posting it?
Whelp, if I might be of some assistance, I've found potential evidence in favour of the Lute = Eve theory.
