On March 28, 1963, Hitchcock’s "The Birds" hit U.S. theaters. On a $3.3M budget, it grossed $11.4M domestically. It features no musical score; Bernard Herrmann supervised a pioneering electronic soundscape using the Mixtur-Trautonium to create synthesized bird effects. 🎬🐦‍⬛
