Find Savings to Fund UK’s Digital ID Plan, Labour Ministers Told
This confirms our worst fears.
Labour want to divert taxpayers money from our public services to pay for their mandatory Digital ID scheme.
The Lib Dems fought against Labour’s ID plans before and won, and we can do it again.
As a council, Richmond has done all it can to support survivors of VAWG. But during these 16 Days of Activism, we’re reminded how much more we must do to prevent it, from helping parents tackle online misogyny to enabling safe intervention. We will keep working to stop VAWG.

The Government’s failure to support our high streets is a stealth tax on small businesses. Pubs, hospitality venues & shops are being pushed to breaking point. We need to back our high streets with fair business rates and real support, not squeeze them further.
To create change and stop violence against women and girls, we must all challenge ourselves to call out misogyny, whether in our homes, our schools, our workplaces, online or our streets.

The ECHR guarantees the right to life and a fair trial. It protects freedom of speech. It prohibits torture, slavery, and discrimination. Reform want to get rid of it. Relieved that the @libdems.org.uk protected it in parliament yesterday.
