Jaden McDaniels, deadpan delivery, on what worked for the Timberwolves offensively.

Jaden: “Go at Jokic, Jamal, all the bad defenders. Tim Hardaway, Cam Johnson, Aaron Gordon, their whole team.”

Q: They’re all bad defenders?

Jaden: “Yeah, they’re all bad defenders.”

I see more Toronto - easy to push around, not enough shooting, odd construction - than Orlando, which is mostly about talented players who are also morons

I hope so. I watched a clip today of Ant shit talking someone in the crowd during last season's series against the Nuggets and I felt something. A little frisson of enthusiasm breaking through after several months of watching rookies dribble balls off their fucking feet.

Really a relief to reach the end of the NBA regular season. It felt like it needed to be put out of its misery. Obviously as a fan of a tanking team I had many reasons to pray for the end but it was grim all over this year. Hoping the playoffs bring back the magic.
