No party will ever be in power and stick to their core values and ideology. I truly believe politics no longer function like that. I don't have an answer. We will end up with reform. Perhaps we need rock bottom to start again?

I think that's true for lots of US citizens, many didn't vote for this! Someone needs to start a US fundraiser to support Ukraine. Imagine 1000s of US people donating just $1! The money it would raise and the message it would send!

I see your points, you're right! But...the AfD came second in the polls after the votes were split. And in that voting system, the news is not good. It shows, just like here, that the opposition is very split, allowing the far right to surge into second position....
