New update! I posted the photos to instagram and Patio responded, and I’d say it was a good response! I’m sure they didn’t intend to block the lane and hopefully they’ll look out better next year. Or maybe the 2way lane will be installed by then!

Update: almost a week later and Patio didn’t move their barriers that were partially blocking the Broadway bike lane, so I moved it myself. Took less than 5 minutes

Yeah, there’s no way a future congress is going to bring back the CPB

For context: the funding clawback Congress approved remains in effect. This suit was pursuant to the President’s initial executive order, one of many he issued later ruled illegal. Funding crisis for public media, sadly, remains.

Don't get your hopes up. The order to stop funding may have been illegal, but there was a separate action where congress voted to get rid of Corp. for Public Broadcasting funding, so it's gone for good... or at least until a future congress passes a new Public Broadcasting act.

Yeah it’s only a foot further out, but that’s a foot that makes a difference.

I love that Patio takes over a parking space to expand their outdoor dining, but it makes the already too narrow bike lane even narrower. 3 days ago I politely asked the manager to have it moved just a little. It’s still there. If you bike on Broadway, could you stop in and ask them to move it too?
