2024 NHS Staff Survey results summary showing percentage of respondents recommending Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust as a place to work, with an increasing trend from 59% in 2021 to 72.5% in 2024.
We were best in the country for feeling free to act & use initiative, and feeling able to make improvement suggestions.
Our results are above the national average & we’ve improved on all 9 themes from 2023.
We're working on improvements to meet our big ambition of being a great place to work. 2/2
New McKinsey research says that for workforce performance/productivity, the working model (office based, working from home or hybrid) is far less important than other factors. What matters most is the work environment that leaders create (whatever the working model):

We've launched a new digital hub at Birch Hill Hospital, in partnership with Virgin Media O2 Business.
The hub will be used for digital training and development. It will provide resources and support for colleagues to use online systems confidently and deliver even better care.
Today was the grand opening of the @penninecarenhs.bsky.social Digital Hub at Birch Hill.
