I was fortunate to move from a paradise of indie rental shops to another haven of indie rental shops. An embarrassment of riches. We eventually got ONE Blockbuster and it was far away and felt dumb and corporate. A glorious stretch of maybe 7 years.

I went to Christian camp the summer after Pulp Fiction blew up and let me tell you, the kid who was quoting the film at camp was a hell of a lot cooler than Pete Hegseth.

Finished Trigun Stargaze and really liked it. It was a good speedrun/distillation of the manga.

The two Trigun anime are counterpoints. The og is basically treading water before rushing an ending that didn’t exist in the source material.
The 2nd tells a more complex tale in the same # of eps

True. Of the set only Frasier had to change its premise. At least Malcolm had the courtesy/ability to replace Dewey

Plus I enjoyed Night Court a lot so at this point the only failed sequelmake is Frasier, which cratered!?
