She is amazing! She just traveled to America to ran the Boston Marathon yesterday for her second star! Very sad I could not see her race, but I'm looking forward to being able to travel the world to see her at the other ones and have fun exploring along the way :D

I'd love to make multiple trips if I could! I may want to make a whole ton of VN pilgrimages >_>

We are looking forward to doing a whole bunch of traveling in the next few years since my wife is trying to get her six star marathon medal. Looking forward to Japan, the UK, Europe, and Australia! :O

Missing my wife while she is away. Sad I could not be with her to support her with the marathon.

Just got a text stating my mom has been in the hospital all day.

I can think of a ton of things that would have been much better to highlight. For the shopping section, the mall, Henderson, or Koreatown would have been much more notable. Superstore shouldn't even be mentioned in an ad like that lol.

Sort of reminds me of the time we found this random magazine on a ferry that was an ad for Coquitlam. I remember it was highlighting the IKEA and the Superstore as being great for shopping.

found out about the manga kuma gurashi which is like those ones where a manic pixie dream girl comes into a salaryman's life and starts doing all his domestic chores for him to heal his heart except in this one it's a realistically drawn bear and the salaryman is terrified on every single page

A cup of soft serve (flavours are a mix of two flavours banana milk and honeydew Melona) with a piece of taiyaki on top that appears to be eating the ice cream. The soft serve is in a yellow cup with the text Little Pisces written in white font.

Had dessert for dinner today!

Had a bunch of yummy taiyaki (so many good flavours today) and even went back in to try the soft serve and refill my hojicha cup! Wife is still away, so I got to have it all to myself! :P

Now I feel very round, but at least I had a nice long walk there and back lol

Insane start to this #BlueJays game so far. 8-0 already in the top of the 1st. 7 consecutive hits to start the game, then they walk Straw, and bases loaded TWICE with no outs until our ninth hitter. Diamondbacks already pulled their starting pitcher.

I'm so glad her mom was able to go support her in person and take care of her since this is a huge deal! The only other time she ran a major was Chicago 2024 where she ended up extremely sick and then got me extremely sick D:
It really is stressful and hard not to worry about it :(

I hope so! I know we are both worried about her traveling to the US and dealing with customs as well as her coming home healthy. Thankfully her mom is traveling with her to help, so I think that should make things easier. Definitely calms some anxiety knowing she isn't alone!

Had a decent walk around Koreatown and ended up lost XD

Highlight of today was finding out there is a shop for the scones that I buy at the market! I got to tell them I love their scones and bought a bunch of scones and macarons! :D

My wife left this morning to travel to the marathon. Trying to distract myself so I'm not worrying about her too much.

Looks like a pleasant day outside, so I think I'm going to take a nice long walk to Koreatown and get some yummy snacks and maybe a nice lunch out at a park or something.

Aaaah I see. I actually never heard of that before, but that makes sense.

Reminds me of the frankensteined fossils in Pokemon Sword and Shield and almost certainly why that was a thing in those games lol

Seems like some other prehistoric creatures that aren't dinosaurs got lumped in this. I noticed plesiosaurus listed there too, which are awesome creatures, but not dinosaurs.

Ankylosaurs are pretty awesome! :D

My favourite is triceratops. Stegosaurus and Brachiosaurus are up there too!

That sounds like it might have been a fun thing to do! It's almost like making your own little dinosaur encyclopaedia!

Oh there will be a lot of walking for treats and food in general lol! Plan is to have a daily walk somewhere so I am at least getting some steps in and not just sitting in the house for an entire week.

Officially off of work for a while for a staycation!

Could not come at a better time with how stressful it has been, plus I will be quite worried about wife being out of country until she returns safely back to Canada.

Not sure what I will get up to while having house to myself yet. Will be weird.
