I asked this on threads but I’m curious if anyone here wants to chime in: I’ve been in fandoms for like 14 years and a pinnacle point of the ships in all my fandoms is always how obsessed with each other the partners are. If they’re not a canon ship, fanon makes them. 1/2

It’s so hard to get funding from agencies, but even more than that, every time we delay research that means instead of saving the life of someone 5 years from now, we have to hope they’ll live 15 years with the subpar treatment until research can catch up.

As someone in cancer research, it’s crazy to me that texts between the president carrot and his podcast boy will increase research into hallucinogenic drugs but Mr. Brain worm RFK has slashed money for cancer research….
