Batman slapping Robin meme with the caption, an "18+" sign being over Batman's face while Bluesky's logo is over Robin's.

Robin as Bluesky: "No discussing self-harm, suicide, abuse (sexual, drugs, substance, etc.) unless it's educational—!!!"

Batman as 18+ creators (or non-professionals in general): "Artists are not teachers or therapists. We are not obligated to teach you anything."

‘Projections’ (new album) by @rogerodonnell.com currently keeping me company in my studio. Absolutely adore its ‘skippiness’ energy. (is that even a word?)
Love the more austere 7DWFL for painting too.

a 3.5 meter standing desk would certainly inspire something. 🤣

I think it a benefit that the councillors can imagine a quicker exit.

The standing desk has put an end to sitting.

Mixing in Dolby Atmos at Metropolis last week can't wait to hear the results. Still not sure about Atmos but my new record, Projections is all electronic and if anything works in this format it's that. Dont worry it will also be available in 180gm red vinyl. Coming in September.

It boils my blood that money that could be spent making peoples lives better is going towards this nonsense all because a couple of arseholes mothers didn’t love them

lmao no, TikTok users are not moving to Bluesky. They would literally rather learn Mandarin than learn how to read a feed of text posts. This is a millennial retirement home.

The Irish For: Are Irish names really that difficult to pronounce? We should look at names we don’t understand as something exciting to be figured out, writes Darach Ó Séaghdha.

Never not relevant, sadly: not hard to pronounce, just unpracticed.

"There are some indications in this technological age that they may be…the possibility of reducing or even of dispensing with the human element in artistic production now presents itself as real."

Digital copy of the original linocut print of the strawboy design (black and white, crosshatched background, featuring someone wearing the straws, with a wren on each side)

Digital copy of the original linocut print of the strawboy design (black and white, crosshatched background, featuring someone wearing the straws, with a wren on each side)

The Wren is still strong in parts of Ireland, notably Kerry, with elements entwined with nature and the old pagan roots of this time of year.

"Up with the kettle
And down with the pan
Give us a penny to bury the wran"

Irish creatives, we need to keep an eye on our government too. Our copyright regulations have *already* been changed, without consultation, to make data harvesting easier for ‘research’.

When the call went out for people to form a national AI Council, no creative profession was among those invited.

Using modern technology to allow us to continue to witness something the people of this island built in connection with the seasons and the universe thousands of years ago is pretty cool, actually
