Rousseau and political authority — legitimate ONLY when it arises from the consent of the governed.

... would have recall elections, initiatives, referenda, and many other mechanisms of participatory democracy. We have the right to self determination! We are beyond "destructive of these ends."

My understanding is that it is not explicitly precluded. But what I'm talking about is a constitutional amendment that would grant us the right of recall. Either that or throwing the whole thing out and constructing a Direct Democracy, perhaps similar to the Swiss system. Either way we ... 1/3

Indeed!

It has never been done, but it's possible within the current framework. It would likely be rejected by the Supreme Court. BUT we could do it via a constitutional amendment enacted by the people.

Yes, it's possible!

We can have recall elections. It will take some work, but it can be done.

Eleven Demands for Real Democracy

Eleven Demands from the Sabby Sabs team seems like something most Americans could get behind and build from there.

💡What about Eleven Demands + Direct Democracy? 🙌

4/20 Is More than a Holiday—It’s a Case for Direct Democracy 4/20 isn’t just about cannabis—it’s a reminder that when lawmakers stall, voters can lead. Ballot initiatives change everything.

What can 4/20 teach us about direct democracy?

So Mike Gravel tried to introduce Direct Democracy (of a sort) 18 years ago. He left out recall elections, and I’m not sure his plan was quite the right one. He’d probably have something more comprehensive if he was still with us now. I bet it would include recall! He explains the process here

I can’t remember if I’ve reached out to you about this before, but one thing I’ve noticed is that a whole lot of the folks critical of Direct Democracy turn out to be Zionists. Mike Gravel is the only person I know of who tried to introduce anything resembling national DD

In Switzerland, citizens enjoy a peculiar power: the ability to give their elected officials the old
"You're fired!" treatment through what's known as a "recall election" or "revocation referendum."
We the People could have this power. too.

Yes to Recall Election! But not just for the president. ANY US “representative” or appointee.

I would say remove the president and VP and call a new election.

We need to reverse anti-bds laws in PA please. We also need to statewide direct democracy. Can you introduce legislation on these matters? Thank you!

Well they have all betrayed us by representing the Epstein Class over the people. so they are governing / ruling without the consent of the governed. That makes any authority illegitimate. That’s what Rousseau said anyway. I agree.

I don’t want to pay taxes to pedophiles and fund genocides and endless wars. I want to overthrow the Epstein class who is destroying the world. I want the hungry to be fed and the homeless to be housed. I want maximum freedom for all. I want to smash the surveillance state. That’s a start.

Yes! Mike Gravel proposed an amendment for something similar, but did not include recall. We absolutely need recall.

America must add an amendment to our Constitution giving citizens the power to remove a President when Congress refuses to do their sworn duty…

Good idea, huh?! 🤚

We could do a recall election. It would be a high bar to make it happen, but if we could ever achieve it, it would be now.
