"we want you to have fun with the cover letter and write 150-500 words about why you want to work here"
Fire your HR team if they write things like this in your job descriptions.
Noticing more people finally starting to poke their heads up from the shatbot induced fuge state. There might be hope for the human race after all.
Bugs? In my codebase? Rip and tear!
It's amazing how quickly looking at job boards can cure you of your will to live.
Does Blooskee like short form content? I dunno. FAFO. (P.S. it won't let me upload the short directly, here's a link instead)

For some reason subtitles have become the default for short form content. But you can tell people are using AI for it because they're WRONG so often. And we're just OK with that I guess?
Today I was told it was amazing that I still code by hand. For my next astonishing feat I'm gonna go read a book. On paper. Really let my freak flag fly.
Currently fighting the sleepies because a nap right now would only make my recent "sleep like a human" struggles worse.

Why is it that nobody running anything has ever even been in the same zipcode as a clue?
It's a time honored tradition I hear. Get well soon.
Companies have forgotten two things. Where the money comes from (customers) and who helps them collect it (employees).
Eventually they will learn these things again, the hard way.
