Today, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we recognize the harm inflicted on Indigenous Peoples by the Canadian residential school system. We encourage you to take time to learn more about the impact that residential schools, and colonization, have on Indigenous communities.

Tomorrow, September 30, is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. On our campus, the Office of Indigenous Relations will host a number of activities to mark the day. We encourage you to participate in whatever way you're able. Visit uwaterloo.ca/indigenous for details.
Tomorrow, as part of The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, many will wear orange to honour the countless children and communities impacted by the residential school system. Surrounding our logo in orange is a way to have Renison "wear" orange.

Today is National Indigenous Peoples' Day. We celebrate Indigenous community members.
Let's reflect on the ways we participate in reconciliation—from taking part in the Moose Hide Campaign Day, to walking alongside our UW community for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Just over a week ago, we had the pleasure of hosting one of our favorite annual traditions—Alumni Beer & Bites—on Friday, June 6 at Renison University College. 🍻
To everyone who joined us—thank you for making the evening special!
Earlier this year, Renison lost a dear friend and colleague, Dr. Darrol Bryant.
For the rest of June, a generous donor has agreed to match donations in honour of Darrol Bryant up to $2000. Each gift not only memorializes Darrol but continues to support his life’s work.
