Aside from writing or drawing, I’m also in the habit of jotting down my thoughts when I’m feeling upset or sad. On one hand, it helps me vent my emotions, and on the other, it allows me to review what I’ve written to organize my thoughts. I believe this is a great way to reconcile with my emotions.

I'm starting to feel alive again. Time away from things really helped, but sorry I've been AWOL for so long. Went through a bit of a mid-life crisis, and I'm really glad that I did since I feel better now than I have in years.
Even the worst things in our lives can lead to us becoming better people.

I often get anxious about things going wrong and feel down in life, unable to muster enthusiasm for anything. But after a while, I suddenly realize that my anxiety doesn't help, and then I start living normally again.

I've never had a dog, so I can't give you much good advice.
