I haven't ever done a Youtube "short" before. Apparently they're strict about the aspect ratio. Anyway, a friend offered to animate random bits of audio I had laying around, and I had a little skit for him.

If you're like me, feeling like you don't understand a stressful situation makes it worse. I don't know mine is the correct answer for sure, but I think it's the most logical one, and while I'm reading the news on all this, it's the perspective I do it with.
Most of Iran's oil wasn't sold directly to the US, so logically they probably assumed they could crack Iran and begin taking the oil, to bolster this economy. That's why there is no real plan nor justification, because admitting why at all is admitting to the flaws and problems leading to this.
I don't think it's necessarily that the US as a whole HAS to be financially insolvent, but that the current administration desperately wants an economy that is unsustainable in normal circumstances, and they can't admit the flaws of their system because the administration is rife with insecurity.
Threatening Greenland, warring with Iran, and taking oil from Venezuela isn't a "projection of strength", it's an admission that our system is weak and desperate, that we cannot bide our time, and that presumably we need to make these moves before the chickens come home to roost.
I think the reason why our country has been so focused on perpetrating conflict lately is because the country is insolvent and looking at looming debts it can't pay in this financial structure. The only way to expand the economy is by seizing outside resources.
It’s my cousin Ben’s birthday today, so it’s a good excuse to post this music video I animated for him. Go watch it and wish him a happy birthday!

New episode in three hours!

I've caught up on the latest episode of the Amazing Digital Circus, and, well, I can't help myself. I've written another article about the show.

I wrote an article about DnD, how it screws people up, and some stuff you can do to break out of what it does. I know you can't win 'em all, but I'm always happy when I hear I motivated people to try a new system and or a more dynamic game.

Four and a half more hours! Prepare!
A nice thing about seeing each other at conventions is we get to talk about silly animation ideas. And Petirep has had more time to work on personal projects lately.
If you come to BowlingGreenCon this Saturday, you can find me HERE!

If you couldn't try it during BABScon, Space Maniac put together an online simulator for the "Song of Love and Tolerance" game I made for the con! All you have to do is select an army to play it. If there's interest, maybe I'll finish the Lunar Republic.
I'm joking. I wasn't kicked out intentionally. Andrea Libman showed up by surprise, and when I stood up to make way for Ashleigh Ball, Andrea sat down in my seat. There wasn't much I could do after that, so I saw myself off!
There's still a few kicking around! This was the very last BABScon, however. It was the swansong for the San Francisco event.
I got kicked out.
I'm back from BABS! The last one, and I wrote an article about it. You can get it here if you'd like to read about it:

4chan got hacked, apparently. I have strong feelings not about the hacking, but about how the hacking got reported on. If you want to read an article I wrote, here you go:

He gained a reputation as a radical in his earlier career due to using Nurglings in a "Harlem Shake" video, but has long since moved on from that era and now uses equipment captured from Noise Marines, claiming it protects the children.
As the frog began to drown, it demanded, "Why did you tariff the entire global economy?"
"Lol," replied the scorpion, "lmao."
Getting DeMarcus's takes on this character was a lot of recording fun. You just say, "There's no wrong way to record this line," and let it go.
If you're not caught up, we're no on part 5 of Unstoppable Momentum! And part 6 just went up for Patrons today.
