5 lbs of nerds gummy clusters and 40 bags of hot cheetos (crunchy, who the hell do you think I am)
going to walk around Tokyo handing out nerds clusters and hot cheetos

Having a dryer delivered and there was some door trim that made the opening an inch too narrow. Asked the delivery guys if they could wait a few minutes while I took it off and they said no, so I ripped it off with my hands and said alright we're good
"oh no the nazis don't believe in global warming" is certainly a take a person could have I guess
every antidepressant ever haha... may cause suicide in some, sorry bout that
"don't take whateverol if you're allergic to whateverol" okay thanks doc
calling for a license to be revoked is noob stuff. real ones use bonesaws
might fuck around and wear a Halloween costume on my flight from Tokyo to Denver tomorrow
yeah I know this is very insightful, thanks for coming to my ted talk, please don't send me links to Wikipedia
it seems weird to call them "rare earth" minerals and not just rare minerals since we can't get them from anywhere else
fuck ice
a French girl just ran directly into me while I was standing off to the side at an empty train station. Didn't even look up or apologize. Dafuq?
Okay there's blog posts and reddit threads and talk show interviews about this so I feel less bad about generalizing now 😅
It's especially noticeable in Japan when the sidewalks are crowded and most people are trying to accommodate others
Of course people from all places are guilty of this at times but that one group seems to be consistent with it. Is it a cultural thing I'm unaware of? I'm genuinely curious
Alright I'm gonna generalize here, apologies for casting abroad net.... what makes French people have zero concern for other people on a sidewalk? They'll walk four abreast and then just stop without warning, and then get mad when I run into them or try to go around
hope springs eternal
I got "nihongo jouzo"ed for the first time today and a nod of respect from the local sitting next to me at the bar when I left. My Japanese sucks but the people here are awesome and appreciate the effort, and it felt nice 🙂
They wanted to make sure we knew that we're all friends even if our governments don't make sense and it was a great reminder that most of us are just victims of circumstance. Shout-out to mew friends Daniel, Andrei and Roman!
Today I went to the Yamazaki distillery in Kyoto, met and drank with Daniel from Sacramento who was staying in Osaka but took the train to Kyoto with me. We went to a craft beer bar and then met a couple guys from Saint Petersburg who gave us Russian candy and some old Rubles as a gift
I just need the country I love to not be run by malicious incompetent assholes and a punk/metal band to play in and things would be basically perfect
My life is pretty awesome right now. I've mostly conquered my 30 years of body image and confidence issues, I'm 70% through what might be the best trip of my life, there's a gorgeous lady back home that 2 years ago I would've said was lightyears out of my league who misses me
This remains the funniest way to hear about an internet outage, though.
now I desperately want orcas to attack a datacenter
LinkedIn post with screenshot of Downdetector with the caption "All down! Biggest combined cyber attack in history? Maybe! Wow….this is absolutely crazy! Billions in lost revenue! Cyber warfare….the new reality!"
Unfortunately I have to inform you that there are idiots on LinkedIn
lol one AWS region down, must be antifa
It's basically skirt steak but chicken. Probably takes 3 chickens to make a portion. Delicious
Super grateful to have Japanese friends that take me out and show me around, I was well prepared. I had never had diaphragm before but that might be my favorite part of a chicken now
Felt like I could use some protein so I stumbled into a yakitori place in Kyoto and ate basically every part of a chicken. Was nice to be away from the crowds in Tokyo, and my very limited Japanese served me well. I think they were surprised to see a bakayarou gaijin ordering the weird shit ❤️

It's definitely good news. Shout-out to the indigenous advocates that are making this happen.
