Personalized cancer vaccines, as I understand it, will use both mRNA technology *and* AI. I need people to stop saying things that make me respond like an AI booster because I am still quite conflicted on it.

Welp. Never mind, back to the ER. so it goes.

We had a Turbo Karen there last night who insisted our breaks were too long while I was puking in the bathroom. She also asked how much we charge. “Not that I’d hire you, but I hired a different band for $x and wanted to know if I got a good deal.”

I am so relieved to be done with these people.

Well. I rallied last night. Finished the gig and drove home but didn’t feel as bad so no ER yet. We’ll see how the rest of the weekend goes.

Don’t feel too bad for me - I’ve been playing these same songs over and over for at least 15 years. I’m very tired of them and looking forward to the break.

Alas, it’s always the cancer. Although at present they can’t yet figure out what’s wrong with me. Which is less than ideal.

Then I get to drive 2 hours back home and go to the ER. For the second time in 2 days.

I guess tonight is probably my last gig with the one band I play most of my gigs with. I just can’t do this anymore, my health is really failing me lately. Sucks. Hope I can at least make it to 1:30am in one piece.

I’ve had to keep a more open mind about it because keeping my job depends on using it, and I can’t really lose my insurance. But I haven’t really hated it thus far. It helps that I’m working with very smart people.

I get that, heavy emphasis on “when used properly” - for example, today I’m doing cosmetic cleanup of a bunch of scripts adding comment headers. 2 full pages of instructions for the prompt and everything will finally be consistent and match the template we created. This would have been tedious!

I know everyone here hates AI but I’m constantly amazed at what it can do when used properly in software development.
