I’m absolutely obsessed with this character and her feminist potential in her many (!!!) iterations (too many to feature them all here). As I’m finishing editing my final thesis chapter on Poor Things, it was great to share a small part of her history for this piece.

Film and scholar community! I’m looking for case studies for my final thesis chapter. Please send my way any recommendations of film/TV that explore sex on screen in a fantasy setting/element. Time travel, sci fi, horror, fantasy - anything Anglophone made between 2017-present.

Guess what it finds?
