It's miserable to see, especially watching fellow students copy paste assignment instructions into an AI to repeat essentially the same steps with now less optimal instructions and including un-asked steps. They can't think for themselves.

My college has pivoted from "literally no AI" to "use it in projects so you're familiar with it or you're boned", and on top of that, 60% of the coop postings for programming list AI as a skill, maybe 3/4 as an asset, 1/4 as a requirement.

Every time I see someone stream to YouTube I feel like they get the worst comments and people who have twitch but prefer YouTube... Seems worth it in the long run but you have to slog through shit no matter what. It's not like twitch where the chat culture is set and people adapt
