I myself am extremely excited for full Medley release, but, well, reasons for delays!
🧵 So. Back to the logistics of the project itself! Medley is already past the Solo Stage. Now it reached the Arrangement Stage. I'm working actively on it.
🧵 I know, proper full medley would be much more impactful. But for a single person that's a challenging task to handle. Still, let's be fair, I did at least something, and you know I'll keep doing it.
🧵 The next nice date is March 8. But this time, I don't want to set any deadlines. Let's just stick to the "part by part" release until all 29 planned tracks are ready for a complete medley release. So far, you have 2 parts, and both are great already in my opinion.
🧵 First failed deadline was February 22, 2026: "2.22" seemed cool, but oh well. The initial plan was to release the standard version at that day and then polish it for Deluxe Version on March 1 (the 2nd anniversary of BvS YouTube channel). As you can see, nothing happened even on March 1.
🧵 So um... I guess I'll provide some sneak peeks here. I feel torn on "staying on Bluesky or abandoning it again" thing, but anyways.

Hiya! I want to address one thing. Public info about BvS claims that there are over 15,000 words written for the project. This is no longer true. I’m rereading script drafts. If to combine them, it can be easily said that over 50,000 words were written already! There is a side story called “The Day of Saylor,” it’s pretty short but it has 7,400 words – so compared to that, 15K for a whole project doesn’t sound right (let alone impressive). 😄
So I’ve noticed that there is some public information that my project #BombsVsSleepwalkers has over 15,000 words written.
This is incorrect.
In fact, over 50,000 words has been written so far. And there’s still a lot to add.
At the moment, I’m not planning to do remixes including PvZ (Plants vs. Zombies). It doesn’t mean there won’t be any, though!! Expect things in October. This channel takes some rest in September. Two things for an update: I’m very actively working on DDLC New Heading – there was an anniversary of DDLC (Doki Doki Literature Club!), and the content I published got some attention, so I’m not stopping there. Just follow DDLC:NH community posts for more news. Other than that, I still have to release the soundtrack for BvS (Bombs vs. Sleepwalkers) – it’s already uploaded but privately. I need to fix titles and descriptions for videos. As soon as I’ll be less focused on DDLC:NH, I’ll do that BvS release. That’s the current plan.

My main channel took a break in September. This month, I’m focused more on DDLC:NH and BvS. But there are plans to do some remixes in October.

Okay, addressing the biggest issue so far: synopsis of DDLC New Heading. That’s true, there is none. Expect **temporary** synopsis in the next progress update. It means: subject to change. Some backstory here: Years ago, when I and my friend worked on DDLC:NH actively, we’ve divided up the responsibilities. Friend was responsible for coding and writing. I was responsible for presentation: music and graphic design. Occasionally I helped with the core concepts, but I had a smaller role in project. There was some success with ideas, music and design, but there was no success with code and writing. Friend couldn’t find time and motivation to do that, and to prove that the project has actual value, I released the soundtrack. The project has been put to hiatus several times. I moved on and started working on the revived original game series as a writer. As I gained confidence in writing, I started thinking about refreshed storyline for DDLC:NH, but I wasn’t sure if it’s too late to work on DDLC mods. Now, when the revival became proper (very recently), I do this project solo. I write for it, I’m planning to code, while still doing music, graphic design, and other work. Synopsis needs established stories – and when I’m rewriting everything, it’s tricky to tell what the game is supposed to be about. I know what it should be and how it should work, but I can’t tell too much.
On my Discord server, I explained why there is no DDLC:NH synopsis at the moment.

I mean it in a way that I'd like to keep writing stories for it and return to PROPER coding. But, would be nice to know the direction. DDLC in 2019-2020 is certainly not the same as DDLC in 2025-2026.
I falsely thought DDLC fandom is pretty much vanished. Maybe it's not as active as it's been anymore, but it keeps living.
Then, I thought and still think that my mod probably wouldn't live up to what is expected.
Here, perhaps I'd love to know what IS expected.
I'm delighted to see there are still people who really would love to see #DDLC New Heading (my mod) released.
To be honest with, well, whoever reads this (thank you).
It's been approx. 6 years since this thing started and 5 years since it's first announced.
I feel bad for it. No demos, only music.
8th anniversary of DDLC is starting soon, so I've started reworking my mod, DDLC New Heading – with many things getting changed, because I didn't like earlier concepts, they didn't work for me.
I've started with a new cover, here it is!
