Or "David Seymour" at all, ever.
💯
Seconded.
With the absolute clusterfuck that's happening in government right now, for goodness sake make sure everyone you know is registered to vote
It could all come crashing down in a few days

Done
Unbelievable.
Expect more social vandalism in the coming months. If current govt feels they might lose the election, they can at least inflict as much damage on social democratic institutions as they can, knowing they will not recover in time for their next chance to privatize and corporatise life in AoNZ. #NZpol
Preaching to the choir on here I think, but this is important. Share it with people in your life that are less terminally online.
And encourage them to register and *vote*.
We won’t survive if we continue as we are.

Beautiful description.
I don't know Cath. Love and memory are both so mysterious. I don't know if this is true for everyone, but I needed a full cycle of anniversaries and birthdays and festivals to pass before I really felt that any of my loved ones were really gone from the day to day. Feeling for you.
My son said "yes, actually" and subsequently the guide was so rude in response to every question he asked that some other guests from the west coast of the SI commented on it. Disappointing. And embarrassing, in front of the gf.
I thought this had worn off after the 1980's. But my son and his EU citizen gf visited Wellington in February and at the urging of his sibling booked a tour of Parliament. The guide asked where everyone was from, and when my son said Auckland, the guide sniggered and said "Remuera".
If anyone in New Zealand has an old phone book they are willing to give me, I need one.
It's for art purposes.

Checkout time? I wish he would.
Goldsmith's work is beginning to show. #NzPol
"We've been saying for a long time ... "
Peters gives the impression that he "knows stuff" but if you listen to the interview a few times it is apparent that he actually hasn't said anything. And I find his use of the royal "we" as in "we've been saying for a long time" quite annoying. Why doesn't anyone ever ask him to show where?

Same. We had a food related business. The duopoly is a monster.
Pay attention #nzpol
Not only is the idea to build a LNG storage facility mindbendingly stupid for our energy independence, saddling our energy costs to more fossil market volatility — the fuel is also a climate disaster
Or Lidl, or Spar.
Ours is the rattler and mouser for somewhere across the road. We don't know where he goes, exactly, but are very thankful he leaves the corpses on the front porch. I am a rodent undertaker. 😸 🐀 🐀 🐀
That little twerp Goldsmith smiled at me at Remuera New World so I scowled back at him and he literally scuttled off. So not tough actually, except from a nice safe office. Just nasty.
My neighbour has cancer. I bring her bins in because I can't remember if her chemo is this week, next week, or later in the month. So I just bring them in anyway, so she doesn't have to ask me.
Daughter and I were talking about this today, (she was born mid-nineties). People either refused to make any accommodations and expected her to keep up, or, alternatively, would dissuade her from trying something she had judged she could do.
