Found this funny indie game on itch.io and I love the silly physics. Puzzles are challenging and fun to complete! 😆
This is how rock climbing should be!

Sent off the climbing story, after a trillion changes from the resident rock climbers. They got so enthusiastic about this that I had to remind them it's supposed to be a horror story, not a climbing manual...

Don't get me wrong, I like staying in fancy hotels and owning a home, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss when I only had a van, tent, or friends couch to sleep in.

True, so much of climbing is incidental butt shots.

You can’t climb all the time :) Climbers are gamers, readers, movie watchers too.

Cool! What are you training for? Hopefully the blisters settle down. My son and I are trying to increase our pace for our next 10k. We're run/walk/runners. :)

Two things I'd be thinking about are: do my shoes fit well and did I up my mileage too quickly? I sometimes apply bandaids if I think I'll get blisters, to protect the skin before they happen. I also wear toe-socks but I don't know if that would help in this case.

But more importantly, climbing ropes is fun, too. :)

The rain stopped long enough to check out a couple routes. Both 5.9+. Forgot the stick clip just to spice it up a little. Onsighted one of them and fell a few times at an awkward spot on the other. Good day

Mother’s Day promo at the gym, so I took my mom(74) rock climbing. She crushed it. Even sent a top rope route to the top of the canyon.

The image shows a zig zag staircase, side on, carved into a rockface. People can be seen climbing the stairs, on the way to the top of the Buddha statue. The rock is predominantly orange sandstone, with green mottling from lichens.

Visitors climb the 250 stairs, carved in zig zags into the cliff side, to see the #Leshan Giant Buddha, a 71-metre (233 foot) stone statue, at the confluence of the Min and Dadu rivers in Sichuan province, #China.

Old yellowed photo print of early 80's vintage rock-climbing gear.

Old yellowed photo print of early 80's vintage rock-climbing gear.

Maybe 2 people out there will find this interesting- here's my first climbing kit from ~1983. Full set of Chouinard hexes and stoppers (No SLCD's), oval biners, knotted runners, Boreal Fire shoes, and 150' rope. I learned to lead in the Gunks, and later climbed Devil's Tower etc, with this rack.
