I've not seen anyone mention this - UK Parliament Access to Work Inquiry. Deadline for evidence is 23:59 on Monday 23 February 2026. Given the impact on deaf people, is there a BSL version knocking about? Otherwise what's the BSL Act for?

Interested to know where you're pitching your 50% stats from. I have Meneire's but most deaf people I know don't seem to have balance issues on my scale and tbh I feel the odd one out.
Welcome to the latest surge of new Blue Skyers!
Here's a guide I wrote a while back about how to get set up - transfering over people you follow, finding great people, etc.

Qualifications Wales suspended GCSE BSL indefinitely. Instead they've come up with a fraction of a qualification which can be taught in as little as 5 hours by an unqualified "BSL teacher". It is meaningless, insulting and a tokenistic exercise. Trick or treat.
Finally got around to setting up this account, hello!
