Because some comments make me think people missed the PSAs I do semi-regularly: if you were born before 1987, you should get a MMR booster now. The second childhood dose of MMR wasn't added until 1989, and folks who were older than 2 (the age for the 2nd) may not have gotten it.

Just paid €10.89 customs duty on my free New Yorker tote bag. We must end this trade war and normalize US-EU relations
welp, for about 48 hours I was seriously considering an iPhone but uh
Today is day 130 of the ICE occupation of MN.
We stand in solidarity with communities across the country experiencing their own version of ICE occupations.
And if it hasn’t happened yet where you live, now is the time to prepare.
It’s really important for anyone trying to understand the political moment we are in to see that it’s a bunch of good old boy rapists more willing to end democracy and start a third world war than they are to live in a society without ossified rape culture
It has come to my attention that there are approximately as many rats as people. It is logical to think of yourself as having, somewhere in the world, a specific, personal rat.
i got a 911 text from an eviction-defense attorney today who had a client who needed nearly $5,000 to prevent her eviction
i was all ready to barn-raise for it. but then—what’s that? the community-run rent fund in her area had the resources to cover it! need met! done!

I think it's bad for the President to threaten to annihilate an entire culture and i do not think you are being alarmist if you take his threats seriously and literally.

We’re on strike today! Support our fight for a fair contract by NOT visiting the @propublica.org website or engaging with ProPublica stories today.

1/ After 28 months of bargaining our first contract, @propublica.org management continues to take unacceptable positions on the issue of artificial intelligence.
The Iranian embassy in Iran quote tweets Trump's insane 'Fuckin Strait tweet with the comment: "This low level of civility and intelligence shown by a leader of a country is regrettable; the shameful fervor with which intentions to commit war crimes are repeated is staggering; and the fact that the Divine is invoked regardless of ill intentions clearly exposes deep fanaticism. Apologies for sharing this language." Trump's tweet reads: "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP"
my entire timeline on x is now just iranian embassies demonstrating a facility with the english language that puts everything i've ever read from the trump administration to shame
Remember all this nonsense about the supposed inferiority of “third world” immigration? They really believed that and applied their theory to international relations and it failed. Racism makes you stupid.
NEW: Trump revels in threats to commit war crimes by destroying Iran's civilian infrastructure and sending it back to the "Stone Ages." He and his aides scorn laws on using force — obvious from strikes on civilian boats to Hegseth's talk of "no quarter." Gift link: www.nytimes.com/2026/04/05/u...
from the Guardian 'Unhinged madman': US politicians react to Trump's expletive-laden threat to Iran Marjorie Taylor Greene and Bernie Sanders among those responding with alarm to Trump writing 'open the fuckin' strait, you crazy bastards'

The biggest story in the world right now is that the president of the United States is a demented old man who takes pleasure in torturing and killing people and is committing crimes with impunity. And yet most legacy media outlets are too cowardly to tell it like it is.
When Trump posts a deranged, insulting rant that threatens war crimes, it's treated as a fresh approach from a bold leader. When AOC gave an off-the-cuff answer consistent with decades of sensitive US–Taiwan–China relations, they transcribed ordinary verbal breaks to suggest ignorance and waffling.
It would be much easier for them if Democrats were on camera saying things like, "If you are ordered to commit a war crime and refuse, we have your back. Once we retake power, whatever it costs you, we'll fix it."
I hammer in the morning
Again, it is important to understand that the rule of law returning to the United States would necessarily involve that "White House official" dying in prison, and they know it, so they simply will not be giving up power by normal processes.
NGL, LOAC has always been a rough field with messy complexities and disappointments about enforcement, but there is something truly horrendous just watching the admin plan and suggest war crimes that are the textbook easy cases of "yeah this one's obviously a war crime, every nation agrees on that"
"The President can do anything he wants to unless 2/3rds of the Senate agrees to convict the President" is not how the Constitution was set up or how any sane system of governance works. That describes a de facto status quo maybe but that status quo is clearly unacceptable bsky.app/profile/scra...

The US AID destruction is one of the sickest things anyone has ever done in human history.
No one got anything out of it besides the gleeful thrill of mass black death. It’s truly bone chilling to even contemplate what this really was.
Does anybody have a link to this starter pack
The courts rulings against Trump don’t solve the larger problems immediately. It is up to the citizens not only to vote but to restore and rebuild America’s damaged institutions for its long-term future, says @sulliview.bsky.social
