I'm loving the trend of Youtubers coming in to produce and direct movies. It is a big thing for the world of cinema and it inspires others to believe that they can also make an impact in film without a film degree or pre-existing connections in the industry.

It took me a week to come up with a synopsis.
If it is theft for a company to plan on and carry out the act of stealing the catalytic converters from their 2012 range of cars in 2026 then it should also be theft if a tech company plans to take away digital services from their technology they released in 2012.
Planned obsolescence is theft.
Congratulations!!
I love this sassy little guy.
I am borrowing him.
If your novel takes place at a location that exists in the real world then you need to visit that location early on in your novel writing. You need to get your details right and should take copious notes and images during your visit. Get it right, readers will know.

Todays #dailywritingrollcall is an interesting one.
What piece of non-written media has inspired your writing the most?

What strikes me about the "they don't write books like X anymore" is that yes, they do. There is so much to choose from right now. The trouble is it's often difficult to find.
I read a lot of books I like. I read very few I *love*, and it can be difficult to jump off those to something similar.

Todays #dailywritingrollcall is two questions.
1. What is something that you are looking forward to?
2. What is something you believe that others should also be looking forward to?

One of the strangest things about being a non-public facing author is thinking about who other people think you are.
For instance How old do my readers think I am?
Not a soul knows me yet you all know my thoughts and opinions through my book and my posts on here.
How strange.

Late April Fools joke.......surely.....
Being afraid of young people discovering different sexualities and genders only serves to give them a great dissadvantage later in life when they do have the necessary faculties to make a concrete decision about how they identify.
This is a despicable violation of the first amendment.
This book being banned makes me angry.
Can we go back to being concerned with the little green pieces of paper?
Please?
Can we leave the groupings of papers alone?
Life is too short not to read a book that was written well and by an actual human being.
One of the most common responses to the finger is to give the finger back.
I say forget that and embrace giving a thumbs down. They will barely remember anyone who gave them the finger back but they will remember the person who gave them a thumbs down.

8 million people.
Today was the largest day of protests in U.S. history.
I couldn't be more proud.
Even though the protests may be over remember that change comes from what we do next.

I'm fighting one very large very personal demon right now.
Their name is Time Management and they're kicking my ass right now.
I'm on the floor begging to have more time to write my book.
Help.
