It's the best! i also recently started crying in a game when my character thought he had turned his back on his faith, and returned home to apologize for his actions, and lying about it, (kinda expecting to be turned away) and found only love and acceptance
one of my favorite RPG moments so far was when in a Kids on Bikes game, i found a document in-game mentioning a character from my backstory (a friend my character had a crush on) who everyone else in town had forgotten. it took me a moment to register who it was, but when i did, i started crying
