The finishing has been pretty bad, but his hold up play has been a real positive

On the bright side, Gakpo looked really good at CF. If he can improve at that position, we might see more of Rio.
It really depends on how many center backs we can sign and how the winger market is.
I think he’s earned a start against psg. #LFC
He’ll probably perform better at striker with a winger who can create chances.
Indy had an incredible run last summer though. I remember he was the first to mention Wirtz and was early with the other signings too. Though he did have a lot of misses too, so maybe it’s a volume thing.
That is a very flattering score line. #LFC
Should’ve been the picture of Cherki in Ekitike’s shirt
The talk is that he would finish the season, of course he’s not looked at as a long term option.
Waiting until the summer will piss away this year’s champions league and next year’s. In this form, I can’t name one fixture through the end of the season that I favor our chances.
Perhaps you should’ve waited until full time for that take
I think he could be good with Liverpool, given the right kind of spending. We would need at least two new center backs and depth at wing back.
I’ve missed seeing crosses like that.

5 wins in 18 since the start of November, 4 of which are against bottom half teams. The last couple months have been a very easy run of games, yet little progress has been made. #LFC
It will
The other argument is that our new fullbacks are probably better suited to a 3 at the back as wingbacks. The problem is, we do not have the center back depth for that system, especially after selling Quansah
Konaté was amazing and the midfield was dominant after the first 20 minutes. If Ekitike had played I have no doubt we would’ve won that game.

Guehi will easily start. He has been great both with and without the ball, whereas Konate has been a calamity all around this season.
The approach to chance creation is awful. The entire game is played on the wing with no real plan to get it centrally. #LFC
If we’re moving towards a two striker setup then probably not.
I don’t suppose it matters, since we will probably be playing with two strikers for the next few weeks.
Yeah exactly. Could put Mac in for Curtis or grav on the left with Endo at the base also.
Two strikers with a diamond midfield is what I want to see.
I want to see slot try this formation for a run of games, with Salah out of the picture (hopefully temporarily), we need to keep feeding Ekitike and hopefully get Isak in form.

If we can stay within range of a champions league spot, then maybe. But if the gap begins to grow, he will be gone quickly.
Of course I want the team to win. But realistically, this next week is gonna get ugly. Would love to be wrong, but Inter and Brighton are a huge step up from Leeds.
Yes that’s true. But, is Salah bigger than this particular manager? Because it seems like he’s saying that it’s either him or slot.
Exactly. Putting Endo as the lone CDM, Mac and Grav in front and Szobo and Wirtz instead of wingers is a recipe for a clean sheet.
Just thought about the lack of Endo appearances and all three reasons are alarming:
1) Awful loss to go out of the cup
2) Very few games to close out while ahead
3) No respect for fan favorites
None of the three were a concern under Klopp.

Turned on the tv and saw Infantino brown nosing a fascist pedophile.
