Two smiles brought to face. Thanks @ianfraser.bsky.social for exposing the Telegraph (for skipping any due diligence at the very least) and for having #BlueSky mentioned in the MSM, instead of sucking us up to XfkaTwitter. Lovely Jubbly.

I do reflect quite a lot (as a parent and as a daughter) on family reparations. In my view it requires a lot from both sides to be in a place where no one will regret choices when the other dies. Doesn't cutting ties create other issues, and a long term, bigger ones to resolve?
Headline saying 12 more prisoners released in error with 2 still missing, says Lammy.
Mr. Lammy wants to clear the court backlog by killing the Jury Trials, so that more can be sent to prison and then get the revolving doors? The whole thing is such a farce! #UKLabourBrokeMyHeart
Oh most definitely. And go back to listening to the people, not panicking about the polls. I was one of the campaigners for Labour in the last election, leafleting and being at the polling station on election day. After I cancelled my membership they didn't even bother getting in touch to ask why.
Agreed. Although I see this included in the 'argument about the next election'.
Once again #LabourUK manages to break my heart!
Can I just say right now this digital ID, if ever starts being developed will end up being a failure, with millions of pounds being wasted when it should gone to more important parts of society 💔🥀
Another reason to be #DisappointedByTheLabourParty 🥀
Not in a million years I would ever read these headlines.
It's heartbreaking to see this government blocking their eyes and ears to workers fighting for their rights.

I wasn't asked in this YouGov poll, and it's awful Wes is using it in such vile way, but NHS junior doctors will always have my support.
And it's like he already forgot who actually lost the public support in the last local elections!

Aside great things about being an older mum, what brings me down from time to time is that with the family passing the age of getting married, the chances of kiddos being in a wedding party as children are minimal. I was a flower girl twice, and it was so great, it's sad to think they'll miss it.
I resigned my Labour membership with a heavy heart a few days ago. I cannot bring myself to financially support the party or to campaign for them - as I actively did in the last elections - with the current policies and lack of principles. Not that the party cares if I stay or leave, really.
Felling like I'm the only one in the company not excited about AI. It would be mainly to spout out documents and plans, but it does look it doesn't save any time between preparing input and checking output. The impact to the environment really makes me resist it. Am I missing anything?
That's better www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... from the #BBC re. positive news. It would be great to see a weekly feature sharing more of these to shine a light in the darkness of negative news we get every day. Or maybe something for @theguardian.com to think about, along Blind date and How we met?
Disappointed to see the #BBC decided to change the headline to something much less optimistic, now burying the stranger kindness in the article www.bbc.co.uk/news/article.... Then they complain and report people no longer reading the news because it's too negative 🙄
On a sea of despairing news, hope is found www.bbc.co.uk/news/article.... It will be great to read about the day we realize how kind we are and enjoy the comfort of such data. Thanks #BBC (which is still refusing to join BlueSky)
Do you have some @book_tokens to hand?
'cos if you use them in an indie bookshop before the end of February, and then go to their website, you could win £500!
And yeah, you can use them on our website, and it counts. AND then we send the book to you, for FREE

Dilema, after a big reorg and several colleagues don't make the cut in the redundancy rounds, should I reach out asking those who I work with in the past and hold most dearly asking how they're feeling, and asking if I can help, or does it feel like being nosey if they didn't contact me? 🤔
Mas já estão tanto contando que não vai ser preso, que já estão até mexendo os pauzinhos ué

Such a shame that most headlines in the #CMHW2025 phrased "banning phones from schools don't improve Children's mental health or test results". The point was very clear that banning *alone* has no impact. A very important detail.
Well done @theguardian.com

Here I was thinking that my very 80s reference to Trump + Musk = Pinky + Brain was very original.
But in a way I'm glad I'm not the only one noticing it, maybe those US voters will see the errors of their ways next time.

they want to erase us completely. do not let them, we will outlive these fascists. create art, take pictures of yourself or your trans friends, make something lasting. we will outlast them forever
Loving this tune. Not sure they'd like to know a middle age woman is rocking up to it though. But, if you take my kids (who also are loving it) and do our average, you get a cool 19 year old, hope that makes up for it 🤭

I really don't like being told off, worse yet in front of other people. I try to work on what they call resilience, and growing a thick skin, but I wonder if I should keep being subjected to this treatment and I'm the one who has to change? 🤔
Urgh, got emotional in a call, with camera on, after being bombarded by 4 people with aggressive language virtually. It happened in the morning, I was shaking for an hour afterwards and my eyes are still sore. The joys of working from home. I wonder if they'd do the same in person. 🧵
It's strange I feel like co-pilot is male. It should be an "it" being completely honest, but it annoys me I didn't instinctively think of it as a female. For now, I'll make the conscious decision of calling it "them".
Friends, what are we eating today? Truly nothing sounds appealing but I know I need to eat *something*
