I travel frequently, and I have no doubt that there are airports affected. There are also airports not affected but are struggling because of the panic the media is creating. People are getting to the airport SO early they are overwhelming standard TSA crews. Reporting needs to be more precise.

I’m old and the endless “this frequency will instantly put you into deep sleep” or “this frequency of noise may be linked to negative effects on long-term brain health” tires me. 😂
I love the Muse and use it with patients/clients/athletes…but I do wonder with the Wild West show that is sleep hacks and sleep tech, what is one getting beyond simple meditation, prayer, breathwork prior to bed?

What I am saying is this: is the intervention improving anything meaningful (e.g. amount of deep sleep, total sleep time, performance on cognitive assessments, response times, blood pressure…anything that would have a performance/heath benefit), and are you able to surpass simple meditation…

Yep…that’s my point. As a practical matter I really don’t care about creating an EEG signature that looks like SWS…I’m looking for something that performs. Over the entire expanse of sleep research, what doesn’t improve SWS a little bit?

Trust me, I agree with you, but I suspect the Republicans don’t care, will not capitulate, and will spin it all to be the Left’s fault. It’s a tough spot. Not sure you fixed anything for me, but appreciate the thought. We have an idiot for a president; nothing will be “fixed” until we vote him out.
