Matter-Eater Lad is like a JoJo villain. His power is completely useless unless he gets within arm's reach, then it's over.

Anyway, remember that Lupin III movie where the Tower of Babylon was in NY, but underground?

So many artists think the key to designing appealing female characters is making them as generically / conventionally beautiful as possible, but this recognizes that we're often drawn to faces with character.

I really love the distinct faces, and how they have little "flaws" like Jean Grey's asymmetrical smile or Supergirl's freckles.

Ibixes was the character the boss' daughter played on the show-within-a-show, and there was another episode where Damocles' actor was unaware that he was being eclipsed in popularity by his new sidekick - named "Boy" (Kouros is Ancient Greek for "a male youth").

Made in Canada was about sleazy tv producers and there was a show-within-a-show called The Sword of Damocles that was, in-universe, a Hercules: The Legendary Journey knockoff (actually, they made it to rip off Xena, not knowing Hercules existed).

Just what my webcomic with middling readership needed: a wall of text containing references to The Simpsons, Lord Dunsany, a fake goddess made up by Tumblr, and an extremely oblique reference the early 2000s CBC sitcom Made in Canada. This'll turn things around for sure.

Oh nothing just this Instagram post by Christina Hendricks that looks like a promo photo for some satirical horror movie where she plays a Suzie Homemaker who secretly murders anyone she sees as a threat to her idyllic life.

Art depicting a woman in Scythian-style clothing. She's wielding a sword against a swarm of giant blue scarab beetles attacking her. In the background, a blonde woman in Greek dress fights off a single beetle. An image of a woman with red eyes and fangs hangs in the air behind them. She has braided hair and a blue scarab ornamentation on her forehead.

There's also text for a OHotMU-style entry that's too long to include, but it's about Harmothoe of Themyscira, an exiled Amazon warrior, and her many adventures in the ancient world and throughout time.

Everyone thinks of themselves as the hero of their own story.

Anyway, my company, Mordor Inc. has perfected MechaHitler. Now excuse me while I recite the 14 Words and then cackle like a maniac in my SS jacket covered in various skull logos.

Jacqueline Hennessy is a Canadian actress who made an uncredited appearance as Claire Kincaid in the Law & Order Season 6 episode "Corpus Delicti".

Jacqueline is the twin sister of Jill Hennessy, who normally portrayed Claire Kincaid. Jacqueline stood in for her sister during one of the episode's courtroom scenes. This was necessary because Jill was in Baltimore filming a crossover episode of Homicide: Life on the Street. When Jacqueline appeared as Claire Kincaid, she sat at the prosecutor's table and had no lines.

There are two shots of Claire in S6 E11 "Corpus Delicti" that kind of looked off to me and my Spy Kids zoom glasses paid off.
