I'm not sure why we think Iran wants a deal. Seems like the IRGC is in charge, there's a healthy faction that wants to escalate, they don't care about the civilian population, and they have a very reasonable fear that a premature deal means they get bombed again in 6 months.

in my experience, if you know what you're doing, you can demonstrate your utility with, say, claude code in a matter of hours. Like you can boot it up, build something, and it's just orders of obvious magnitude better/faster/cheaper than the output from people who are just fucking around
