Here's Why the Stars Hired Glen Gulutzan It isn't because he's safe. Or that the contract is cheap. It's because Jim Nill believes in the power of change—and that might be the biggest risk Dallas' general manager has taken.

Multiple things can be true.

Glen Gulutzan has coached the Stars before. He's also making less money than Pete DeBoer was.

Those are facts. But calling it a lazy hire, is well, lazy.
