How do you protect books on the bottom shelf from pets?

I have floor to ceiling shelves that are nearly full. One of my dogs peed on two lower shelves (and miraculously missed the books). I just don’t have a place for the larger heavy books like yearbooks and scrapbooks.

In 2025, Operation Whirlwind was launched under Interim U.S. Attorney Ed Martin to investigate alleged threats against employees of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
