My race in the 25th is one identified as vulnerable for the incumbent, and a potential flip.

There are lots of other criticisms of HR1, but the voucher program will do the opposite of what Washington state students need.
It creates a tax credit for a voucher program. Vouchers will siphon money from public education to private and religious schools. Students already in private schools benefit.
Even if a state opts out, for every other state that opts in, the total pool of Federal education dollars decreases.
This morning I attended a legislative town hall hosted by the 25th District legislative delegation.
When asked about persistent state underfunding of public education, my opponent's answer was the federal tax credits promised by HR1.
HR1 hurts public education in 2 ways.
Huge news!
WA is investing $56 MILLION to expand child care across the state, helping build and improve facilities that will create more than 2,000 new child care slots for families!
I'm running to flip an increasingly purple district, filled with constituents who aren't being heard by the incumbents. Welcome aboard!
Thank you, Junior.
History matters. Last night, a student spoke of how much her AP African American Studies class means to her and her classmates. Today, all of MLB celebrates Jackie Robinson's legacy. His story means more when you understand the context. Diversity, equity, and inclusion matter.
The discussion of MSOC (materials, supplies, and operating costs) is another important one. The entire increase in state MSOC funding for the Puyallup SD for 26-27 will go to insurance and still won't cover the rate ⬆️. There will still be utilities and other inflationary costs going unfunded.
Every article about education funding in Washington state that includes the McCleary era needs to be explicit that the starting point was so insufficient it was unconstitutional.
Washington's vote-by-mail system is safe and secure. It works.
Did you know that 5 of the 9 Washington State Supreme Court seats are up for grabs this year? Well now you do. With our civil liberties on the line, it's time to bone up on your Supreme Court knowledge.
Over the years, I’ve worked alongside parents, educators, and neighbors to solve problems and build trust. That experience has taught me that progress happens when we focus on what brings us together and stay grounded in the needs of our community.

Serving as a school board director has been an incredible honor, and it has reinforced something I believe in deeply, which is when you step up to serve, you listen, you learn, and you do the work to move your community forward. Now, I’m ready to continue that service at the state level.

The 25th LD deserves leadership that shows up, listens closely, and brings our local voices into the rooms where decisions are made.
This campaign is about stepping forward, not just for today, but for the future we’re building together.
