I’ve been waiting for this Lions’ season all of my 66 years
They got handed one on Thursday. Is it safe to still think I’m going to see the Honolulu Blue and Silver in NOLA? Perhaps it’s my SOL PTSD, but that game scared the confidence out of me.
That was the way the old Lions used to lose. But finally, they’re a team that just seams to find ways to win now, even when one gets dropped in their lap.
The last Lions’ championship was in 1957. I was born in 58. I’ve waited for this season my whole life. I feel like I’m 10 again. Thanks Dan!
Asked by a content voter, a friend who I know would take a bullet for me despite our unlike views, “Do you really think it’s going to be that bad?”
My response:
“I honestly pray that I’m wrong.”
The look on his face told me it’s the first thing I’ve ever said about it that he’s truly considered.
