It is certainly more like driving a car, or walking a dog, than riding a bike, but you are for sure still in control. My own experience is that for good developers AI brings a massive uplift. A rising ride raises all boats.

Do you really think it’s right though? I loved Annie’s work on how to bring AI models into an engineering workflow, but from my experience I simply don’t see how it changes the experience in the way this describes.
